The perfect package
Project type: Web design
Location: London
Why Design was commissioned by London business, The Pure Package to redesign their existing website, provide a content management system (CMS) and devise an online payment solution for their services.
The Pure Package provides a professional meal delivery service where each dish is cooked specifically to your dietary requirements. Previously, customers could only order their meals via the phone and there was strong demand for doing this online.
“Del is great to work with... Intuitive,
really knowledgeable & thoroughly accommodating”
{Gaby Melvin, Operations Manager, The Pure
Package.}
Following The Pure Package brand and utilising the photography they provided, we developed a new look and feel for their website [2]. The main consideration was navigation. With the addition of new content managed sections such as news, case studies and the new sign up section it was essential the users could find the information they needed quickly but also that the site ultimately directed them to the sign up section. We introduced a series of ‘hotlinks’ on the right hand side [3] of the page to help drive traffic to specific programmes.
Working closely with Operations Manager, Gaby Melvin, we developed her ideas on the sign up process to create a simple and informative sign up procedure [4]. In addition to the mandatory information required, new customers can view detailed information using roll over pop-ups about specific food types [5], helping to educate them about their food choices.
“We now have a brilliant website that is
crisp, super easy to navigate, informative and offers our clients the ease
of registering online… Just what we had wanted.”
{Gaby Melvin, Operations Manager, The Pure
Package.}
The sign up process was then integrated with The Pure Packages payment solution provider to create a secure online payment form. Orders are then processed as normal.
