WordPress website design opens new doors
We have been creating graphic design solutions for Phantom Screens since they first came to the UK market in 2007. However, 2020, was time for a rebrand through a WordPress website design. Phantom wanted to reposition their retractable screens as a premium product within the home automation sector, appealing to both self-builders and architects.
Working closely with their in-house marketing team, we developed a new visual language and tone of voice for the brand. Photography featured heavily in the design enabling us to sell a lifestyle rather than a product. This helps shift the perception from a retractable screen being ‘something I need’ to ‘something I want’.
We agreed with the Phantom marketing team to use one of our WordPress websites as they wanted access to the extensive analytical and SEO tools available for these. After initial discussions to understand the customer journey we designed and developed our own WordPress ‘theme’. This allowed us to not only maintain consistency of the new look but to also have complete control over the user experience (UX).
Despite going live during the first lockdown of 2020, the volume of enquiries increased ten-fold in the first two months. More importantly though, so did the quality of leads. The new design and branding was then rolled across their supporting marketing materials.
